This thread is to introduce both Playable and Non-Playable Species within the role-play, detailing their information to ensure you choose a species that fits your role-playing preferences. Playable Species will have a little '(PS)' after their name, and likewise Non-Playable Species will have '(NP)' after theirs. This is to prevent confusion over which species you are able to use, and it will be updated and altered as seen fit by the owner and mods. If you ever have a question about adding a species simply message us and we will do our best to tell you why you can(not) play a species.

A simple notion of Humanity. (( Humans of Earth -0453))

Human. A simple word for a simple species. Broaden that word into what others would consider humanoid. Something far less than human. A something that compared to “humans” is close enough to their grand schemes of evolution and allows them to find some form of comfort. It is this fact, and this fact alone that has lead to the changes in our genetic coding. For we have learned that “earth” is much more than a planet, but a destination within our design. Let it be known that we do consider ourselves human to a point. For we all are children of this small blue planet. Yet compared to those we have recruited, it would seem that our version of humanity is something far different.

Our native tongue has all but disappeared due to the lack of those who still speak it. This could be due to the fact that we did not make it a priority to keep track of our people’s history. In hindsight, with the complete corruption of our earth, this should of been a priority in our culture. As they say though, the future waits for no one..Still even with the universal translators we have created that allows us to understand and speak an unlimited amount of languages. The hard truth that our race is slowly dying along with our language is something that those of us who still hold memories of earth rarely like to think about.

It’s strange, how things seem change given enough time. Once a planet filled with life, is now but a blackened shell of it’s former self. Several of us who still remember earth call out for action. Demands to use the forces we have collected to take it back here and now. It would seem though that their calls fall on deaf ears. For the council of mixed elders have yet to come to an agreement on a true course of action for our future. With the same statement being that “ though we have collected a grand army of man and machines to take back our home world, at this time such an action would be considered illogical.”

Illogical? What is so illogical about wanting to take back your home world? To once again set one’s eyes upon the majesty of natural life. Instead of living in this false shell that we call a colony. Yes, here on the colonies we have control of our surroundings, and we have the knowledge that given the forces we have, that we are safe. Yet, there is that hollow feeling inside of us all. For those still can remember earth. This life is all but a synthetic fantasy. What is left of our people I ask you? Slaves! Slaves to those we have recruited. Slaves to those who have taken us upon our offer of a new life. Only to take it for granted! These are the concerns raised by what is left of our people. Servants to a force we no longer seem to control.

There is something in the darkness of space. A hidden whisper that echos amidst this endless vacuum. What could it be, and what does it hold for us? Out of the silent planet and into the brave unknown do we reach. A frontier as vast and open as the cosmic precipice in which we so boldly call our playground of exploration. Have we reach too far into the nexus, and if that is so was earth not our only mistake? Could it be that what we are doing is consider a universal sin? Earth..not just our punishment, but our cross to bare. I ask you, what it is have we done? Will we be judge...All answer in due time as the tale of the Infinite Core is told through the eyes of those who witness it's story.
